Neutralizes negative charges and destabilizes flocs. It hydrolyzes to form positively charged aluminum hydroxide colloid, which adsorbs negatively charged coal powder and slime particles to form large alumen flocs for rapid sedimentation.

Highly effective in turbidity and suspended solids (SS) reduction. It lowers SS concentration from several hundred to thousands mg/L down to below 10 mg/L, producing clear supernatant for recycling in coal washing.

Removes fluoride, phosphorus and chemical oxygen demand (COD). When combined with lime for high-fluoride mine water, it forms calcium fluoroaluminate precipitate to eliminate fluoride, and also removes colloidal COD and total phosphorus.

Enables fast sedimentation of coal slime and solid-liquid separation. As an essential agent for coal washing wastewater, it prevents coal slime loss and pipeline clogging, ensuring stable operation of circulating water systems.

Improves sludge filtration and dewatering. The formed loose flocs reduce sludge moisture content, delivering drier filter cake and cutting sludge transportation volume.

Cost-effective with strong adaptability. The treatment cost is about 0.05–0.15 RMB per ton of water. It performs optimally at pH 6–8, and still works at low temperatures with slightly reduced efficiency.
