1. Appearance
Color: White or off-white powder; industrial grade is light gray or slightly yellow, iron-free grade is pure white.
Form: Fine powder, tends to agglomerate when damp.
Particle size: 0-80 mesh, fast dissolving in water.

3. Hazard Assessment
Non-flammable and non-explosive. Low toxicity.It is an irritant to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Its aqueous solution is weakly acidic.
4. Precautions for Use
Wear dust mask, goggles, acid-resistant gloves and work clothes during operation.
Work in a well-ventilated area and prevent dust dispersion.
Do not mix with oxidants and ammonia substances.
Skin contact: Take off contaminated clothes and rinse skin thoroughly with plenty of running water for 15 minutes.
Eye contact: Flush eyes with clean water or normal saline for no less than 15 minutes and seek medical treatment in time.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Give oxygen if breathing difficulty occurs and see a doctor.
Ingestion: Drink warm water to induce vomiting. Do not neutralize with strong alkali, and seek medical treatment immediately.
Storage: Keep sealed in cool and dry place, away from food and water sources.
5. Functions in Water Treatment
Neutralize negative charges of suspended particles, achieve destabilization and flocculation, and form large flocs for rapid sedimentation.
Effectively remove turbidity and suspended solids (SS), reduce SS content below 10 mg/L.
Remove fluoride, phosphorus and colloidal COD.
Accelerate solid-liquid separation, prevent pipeline blockage and ensure stable operation of circulating water system.
Improve sludge filtration and dewatering, reduce sludge moisture content.
6. Recommended Dosage for Water Treatment
Coal washing wastewater: 50–100 mg/L
Mine water: 30–80 mg/L
General industrial & municipal wastewater: 20–50 mg/L
Drinking water: 5–20 mg/L
