Working principle: Hydrolyzes to form aluminum hydroxide colloid, which adsorbs suspended particles for coagulation and sedimentation. Optimal applicable pH range: 6.0–8.5. Performs well for low-temperature and low-turbidity water.

Sizing agent: Reacts with rosin size to improve water resistance of paper and prevent ink penetration.

Concrete additive: Used as accelerating and early-strength agent, shortens initial setting time to 5–8 minutes and provides antifreeze effect for winter construction.
